We’re posting far in advance of our next DemoCamp. FYI, it’s April 27th, at 6:30pm at Seven RestoLounge. We’re mixing it up a little this time and going with a different format. Here’s the plan:

- 2 or 3 full Demos

- 30 second pitches on your website, needing help, needing employees, etc

-an ignite presentation or two

What does this mean for you? It means you can let us know if you are interested in participating! We’ve yet to see any Ignite-style demos in Calgary and think this is a great opportunity to practice your skills!

What: We’ve already got some demos lined up, including everyone’s fave guys from assn.ca, Andrew from SiteCite, DJ Kelly on Open Data Calgary and Chris Thompson is demo’ing his new phone service.

What does all of this mean for you? Well, there’s still room for you to demo. Also, there’s a rumor that if you get to District earlier, you’ll be able to take advantage of Happy Hour (for those of you not paying attention, that’s a win-win – no over-priced beer from *that other place* AND even cheaper drinks due to happy hour). This is good news people, this is good news.  Put on your sociable pants and come on down.

This promises to be another great event. We’ll plan on having it at Seven RestoLounge again, unless someone has a suggestion for somewhere with cheaper booze, good food and the capacity to handle us all :) We are not resistant to change here at DemoCamp.
